Embodying the rich history and democratic spirit of this legendary location, our cuisine has been passionately crafted to enchant diners from all walks of life. The menu teases taste buds with a cuisine that is familiar but not easily defined. If you had to label it, we'd say it was inspired Neo-Classical: a creative blend of traditional dishes with flavorful accents from America's melting pot which reflects the roots of the site's architecture and the diverse ethnic backgrounds of the restaurant's ownership and management.

Water Works provides great service, a lovely ambiance and inventive and excellent food. It is peaceful and intriguing, with fascinating outdoor scenery including Boat House Row, the river, and at night, even the traffic on the other side of the river looks lovely.
Impressive historic Philadelphia site, first rate upgrade as to restaurant and menu, and most delightful the very impressive water list (think wine list, but here it's world class H2O). Highly recommended.
