The Washington Inn is nestled on tree-lined Washington Street in the heart of the Cape May Historic District.
Built in 1840 as a Plantation home, the Inn has undergone only a few changes from it's original owners. Today the Craig Family specializes in gracious dining all year around.
The Washington Inn offers five unique dining rooms, from summer patio dining to a cozy fireside table.

My favorite restaurant! Love the food and atmosphere. Always go early to enjoy the atmoshpere at the bar and have the bartender recommend a wine. Have never had anything but a wonderful meal there.

the atmosphere and the service. You definitely get a private experience with your companion. The food, desserts, and wine list are fabulous! The staff is mature, relaxed, and knowledgable about the products. We also enjoy the bar prior to being seating. Appreciate drinks made from scratch, not from mixes.
