The Public Spirit newspaper called the Village Players of Hatboro “the hidden gem of Hatboro”. The playhouse is tucked away in a residential section of town and a lot of people don’t know about it. That’s a shame because the theater has been providing quality entertainment for 60 years. It is well worth your time to seek out this “hidden gem”.

The Village Players of Hatboro are a group of local, hard-working actors who put on a plethora of great performances every year. Over the past two years, I've watched them grow not only as performers, but also as a family. Break a leg, Village Players! (Figuratively, of course!)

Great community theater. Good actors and friendly production staff. I have seen several shows there and always had a good time. The plays have either been one of the classics or also from a local playwright. I also liked that the actors and volunteers ranged in ages from young teenagers to older and senior adults.

Village players are a wonderful and talented group of people who go the extra mile to put on a show. All are welcome and everybody pulls together. They are an important part of the Hatboro community and actively take a hand in the local area. Their support for me after the recent death of my father was unexpected and greatly appreciated.

A "real" community theatre, yet also pulls aspiring actors from all over. A nice, comfortable old building with history. Great shows given with enthusiasm.

Interesting shows, a typically talented and varied cast, excellent performances from a down-to-earth crew of actors that put many professionals to shame.

The Village Players always put on good, crowd-pleasing plays and their ticket prices are very reasonable. They also offer a children's program over the summer and are always looking for volunteers, so they are an excellent place to get your foot in the backstage door!
