I have been going there for 20 years and it's still the best for authentic Italian food.

From the food to the staff to the drinks, Villa Di Roma is definitely the best in the city. The eggplant is to die for, as is their gnocchi. I ate here the very first day I moved to Philadelphia six years ago and haven't stopped coming since. The only Italian place I bring visiting friends and relatives for dinner!

The best Shrimp scampi and eggplant parmigiana in town. Casual atmosphere.
Consistent food. The best in town for traditional Italian food.

A bit crowded at times but when you are the best you need patient customers.

Villa Di Roma is a hidden gem in South Philly that I never knew about (even though I've lived here my entire life), until it was featured on $40 a Day with Rachel Ray. Villa's offers excellent Italian food that you just can't find at chain restaurants. Molto Bene!

Chicken Neopolitan, Chicken Sicilian. It ain't no Olive Garden or Italian Bistro. Always full and the food is great.
