Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant

Manayunk Brewery & Restaurant is great because they are on the waterfront which makes for a nice outdoor bar experience, the food selection is quite versatile and always delicious, and the brew selection is excellent.

Hiway Theatre

The Hiway Theatre is local, not cold corporate like other theatres, and values it's customers. They have excellent selections of movies especially the lesser known gems.
