Uncle Bill's Pancake House

My family doesn't think this place is worth the wait or the prices. We've gotten huge portions but the food quality reminded me of cafeteria food. The potatoes were especially off tasting the time that we went and worst of all the coffee was not good.

Primo Pizza

Our family is a thin crust family and this is the place to go. They use quality ingredients and they don't skimp unlike other pizza places. About 2 years ago they repainted the dining room and it looks great! No matter what time of the year we go to Primo the food is consistently good. The service is hit or miss depending upon the teenage server's whims and whether there are cute guys around that they want to flirt with. The bathrooms are usually clean despite heavy use so thanks for that!

Varsity Inn

To be honest the waits are long for a seat and the booths are cramped and sticky. The pancakes are good but if you want your eggs cooked easy you are out of luck because they are so busy. For a breakfast meal you can do better some place else.

Island Grill

This place is not your usual shore restaurant with hit or miss service and food. They are definitely making the effort for a great dining experience no matter what time of the year you drop in. They have many items on their menu so you can take just about anybody there and they will be happy with the choices. My husband loves the seafood selections and my son goes for the beef so it's nice to have a place to go to down the shore that does both so well. The servers are always great and the restaurant is clean and neat. They also have not so expensive menu items that are delicious and don't break the bank. The specials are good to try if you are looking for something that's a little different and well prepared.
