I've seen some GREAT shows here - GBV, Yo La Tengo, Tortoise, DJ Spooky, Cardigans, etc. I haven't been back since it became the Fillmore, but I've heard it's lost much of its appeal.

Fergie's Pub

Love this place. Great food. Great beer. Good music. And not a TV to be found. Back in my pre-married, pre-kid having, heavier drinking days, it was not uncommon for me to visit Fergie's twice a day!

Jim's Steaks

THEE best cheesesteak on the planet. Period. Other joints may get the press, the publicity, the Food Channel airtime, but that's crap. Jim's is where it's at!! Those who know, know.
