Upper Darby Summer Stage is one of the nation's oldest and most successful youth theater programs. Since 1976 Upper Darby Summer Stage has presented outstanding children's musicals and Broadway shows created by more than 700 participants and a professional staff of more than 90.

The program is fabulous! The acting, singing and sets are top rate. The children really entertain!
It is not only a professional-caliber production every week, but it serves the community through service. THe opportunity it gives to the children involved with the theatre is life changing. It also gives community members the opportunity to attend some of the most lovely and innovative productions ever - from Peter Pan flying through the auditorium last year to this year's production of Beauty & The Beast Jr., UD Summer Stage always strives to be the best!

I firmly believe that UD Summer Stage is the best theatrical organization due to the outstanding staff that is hired, the amazing talent level of the kids that participate - that these young ones mature into well rounded, hard working, polite and wonderful individuals who are team players. There is something for everyone at Summer Stage and everyone gets to participate. I have been a part of the group for five years and a member of this organization for years. SUMMER STAGE is a wonderful, exciting experience for children of all ages! The program fosters self-esteem, teaches responsibility and forges lasting friendships. The shows bring us the best professional quality singing, dancing and acting in the region!

UPPER SUMMER STAGE IS THE BEST: My son has been apart since he was in high school and now in college he returnes every year. The shows are number 1 and the kids work very hard. As he puts it UD SUMMER STAGE IS MY SECOND HOME. THE SHOWS ARE THE BEST YOU WILL EVERY SEE.
My daughter is in her 3rd year of doing shows at Summer Stage and loves it. The quality of the productions is professional, and the program is about nurturing the kids and teaching good values as much as the experience they gain. She loves it and we do too!
