The Venture Inn is one of Philadelphia’s cultural icons. We felt comfortable as soon as we entered this very wonderful place. Our waiter was hospitable and gracious. The rack of lamb and the pork chop were a celebration, if indeed that word is applicable here. We are from NYC and this food is easily a match for some of the outstanding cuisine we enjoy here. We will recommend The Venture Inn for dinner to our friends and colleagues in NYC, and Philadelphia always remains a favorite place and exciting city for both of us.
The food is good. The room is comfortable. And, the staff are a riot.
The "new" Venture Inn is a welcomed breath of fresh air. A lively, fun crowd. The drinks are better, the food is outstanding. Even the staff seems to be happier.

There is no other gay bar in the gayborhood that employees a better staff, serve delicious food @ very reasonable prices as well as the thirst quenching cocktails ... that combination makes me happy ... stop by, I'm sure you will agree

This place is the BEST, it is the friendliest bar/resturant in town. All the bar tenders treat you like your their only costumer! Open from 11 am till 2 pm Stop by during the day and say hello to Dottie she's terrific!!

I'm in Philly a lot on business, and am glad to have found the Venture Inn! It combines the friendliness of a cozy neighborhood bar with the food of a great restaurant! Keep up the good work!
It's the most bar on Camac st.!! The bartenders, (especially Tommy) are a lot of fun. These guys enjoy thier jobs too much! It has a diverse crowd of regular patrons who are all such nice people. Gays & Lesbians alike-Theyre all such wonderful people who make you feel right at home aas soon as you walk through the door.

The Venture Inn is a home away from home. The staff is always so nice. Henry the hottie bartender can and will make you any cocktail you can imagine. He is awesome, between the witty one liners and the ice cold beers.... The Venture Inn Rocks!!!!
Fabulous, warm & friendly staff ... delicious food & cocktails (especially Tommy's cosmos & Danny's bloody mary's) ... outstanding support for community events ... ALWAYS a fun & pleasant atmosphere ... plenty of laughs & lots & lots of good people ... the place to be any day or night of the week !

Danny and Tommy are two of the best bartenders I've ever seen!! Tommy can make you the absolute best martini or cosmo you have ever had in your life! His Long Island Iced Tea's are amazing!!! The drinks are priced good and the food is excellent!! We love that place because of them guys.
