LAVALLETTE, NJ -- The Music Man Ice Cream Shoppe opened Friday, May 23, 2003 offering families a live entertainment experience in Lavallette, and entertainment is the key word!
"Many people would look at The Music Man's main product as ice cream. "We look at our main product as family entertainment, that serves a product called ice cream."
Patrons of The Music Man Ice Cream Shoppe are treated to an "Old Fashioned Ice Cream Shoppe" with a twist. Performing waiters and waitresses may ask guests, "What would you do for your ice cream sundae?" It's a scream when someone has to shake for his or her shake.
A vaudeville style cabaret of upbeat American tunes is performed during every seating; sung by performers who maneuver around the entire shop, singing directly to individual guests and incorporating them into the show. "It's a family entertainment experience that appeals to all ages

Total entertainment!! This place is awesome for kids and adults. The ice cream is awesome, especially The Cracker Jack sundae and the entertainment is SO much fun. These people have talent!!!!Why just go get ice cream, when you can go and actually have a night out with your family? We go all the time, all summer long and it never gets old.
Where else can you get great ice cream, live entertainment, and be right next to the ocean....It's like a magical ice cream parlor. The entertainment makes your heart shout for more ice cream...and it's delicious...try the Crackerjack!
The Music Man is fun for our whole family. It's not just for little kids and their parents. If you love ice cream and you love Broadway show tunes it's the perfect place to have a fun time at the Jersey Shore.
It's absolutely the best. Is it because the ice cream makes the singing better or because the singing makes the ice cream better? Year after year it's the highlight of our week down the shore. Can't wait to visit again this year.

The Music Man Ice Cream Shoppe is unique in so many ways, where else can you go to get an ice cream desert, have a Broadway class show, and an owner that treats you like family and a staff of the most friendly people you can imagine. I am 58 years old and have never found another place like this. Since his opening Aggie has done so much to make people feel welcome and amazingly can remember his customers from year to year, you are not just a face in the crowd you become part of the show. I would recommend the Music Man to anyone who is interested in good ice cream and having an amazingly fun evening.

The Music Man is the best thing thats happened to Lavallette! The ice-cream and singers are great! Such a great place to go if you're looking for a good laugh.
If you think you're just going for ice cream...think again. You will have an experience of a life time. Not only will you flip for all the yummy treats but the entertainment is unbeatable (you can actually become part of the entertainment). It is a fabulous place to go with your family and friends, you will laugh until you cry, you won't be able to get enough. You will want to tell everyone and bring everyone. My favorite is when they have "adult" night. They actually have "mini broadway shows" that are amazing. The Music Man provides you with tea, coffee, and really good desserts. Oh yea...don't forget to try the fudge...YUM! If you haven't been there yet you must go, they have it all. Love it, love it, love it.

The Music Man is one of the greatest experiences at the Jersey shore! It is definitely a can't miss. Not only is the entertainment unique and fantastic, the ice cream and desserts are delicious! We bring all our guests there and it gets better each time we go. You won't be disappointed! And don't forget to buy the fudge!

We became quick and eternal "Music Man" fans when we spent our summer vacation at Lavallette's shore the past two years. Of course, it didn't hurt that our daughter, Rachel, was one of the famous performing wait staff. But all bias aside, we just loved the joyful atmosphere (you will laugh until you hurt yourself), the warmth and welcome of everyone on staff, the delicious and creative dessert concoctions, the amazing level of talent that overwhelms you from the performers, and the giving nature of everyone involved from Aggie & Josephine down to the ice cream staff. Their attention to good old-fashioned service makes you feel like you've stepped back in time to a day when service was something that every employee of American business and industry took great pride in. I've been to Walt Disney World and Broadway, NYC several times...and this entertainment experience would be a big hit if transplanted to either. That's just how good the performances are, night after night, show after show! And we spent just about every evening of our trips at the Shoppe! Our best wishes to Aggie, Josephine, Vincent, Kait, Erin, and the whole Music Man Gang for a great summer season!

I love going to The Music Man with my grandchildren when we are at the Jersey Shore. It's one of the things I look forward to the most each summer. We LOVE Brian and Aggie!! Keep up the great work guys. See you in July!
Life is delicious at The Music Man!!
An experience of pure delight and sheer joy for both the young and "not so young"..The combination of music, joking, teasing, dancing, singing topped with the best ice cream on the Jersey Shore,can't be beat!!
The greatest part of The Music Man Experience is for that short period of time, about 45 minutes each cabaret, you become part of "the loving and warm family of Aggie and Josephine, who make everyone feel that they are special and welcomed.
In today's world where so much entertainment is in that grey area, The Music Man delivers every night, performance after performance, sundae after sundae, a fantastic fun time for all...guaranteed to make you smile, to make you happy, to make you remember that life is good!!!

The Music Man is one of the things we look forward to the MOST on our Jersey Shore Vacation every year! Last year we treated the dad's to a special afternoon on Father's Day also!! You have to see it to believe how awesome it is! The entertainment is top notch, and the ice cream is just the best dessert to hope for down there! It's always so much fun to sit and wait to see who is going to have to get up and sing or dance!!!
We love all of the performers....but BRIAN is our absolute favorite!!!!
Oh, and one more thing! As a breast cancer survivor, I am so greatful for the hard work you all put in to raise money to find a cure!!! Thank You!!!

My family has known Aggie for about 15yrs. He never ceases to amaze me or my family. The Music Man, a place he and his lovely wife created, welcome and treat all as family. They are so down to earth, that you can't help to feel that you get special treatment every time you walk through the door. The ice cream is delicious, the entertainment is phenomenal, you enjoy yourself from the time you enter until the time you leave. We have gone to the off season shows, and they too are unbelievable. If you have not been to The Music Man you have not completed your trip to the Jersey Shore. Hats off to Aggie and Josephine, You Guys Rock!!! We love you guys and you are our favorite ice cream shoppe of all time. I wish you continued success and happiness in what you love doing most, making people laugh and keeping them happy and smiling.

We vacationed in Lavallette when I was a kid and there was never anything like this. It's a great evening out when we're on vacation. The kids love it as much as I do. Music, songs, comedy and of course ice cream, that's all you need. It's our favorite place to visit while we’re down the shore.
We love the Music Man!!! We love the warmth they so us from the first time we set foot in the door. My girls and I love all the songs that are performed. The attention to detail making sure that all who enter have a great time......

The Music Man not only serves the best ice cream, but is guranteed to suprise and entertain you with their songs and imitations. The performers are interactive with their audience(s) and, having worked there, I know it has a wonderful environment!
We go to the Music Man every summer. It is always a warm friendly and entertaining experience!! We also went to their Christmas Show this year and what a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season... In all of the beach towns in New Jersey, there is NOTHING like the Music Man kudos to Aggie and Josephine and their cast!!!
