This is an authentic Irish pub. The staff is extremely friendly and it is my favorite place to watch live soccer games from around the world! The food is great for everyone with an amazing home made veggie burger as well as a great traditional fish and chips. This bar has been a welcome addition to the Queen Village neighborhood.

The Irish Times captures a little bit everything in Philly. It is quaint, the food is good, the mood is good, the Irish heritage is captured the second you open the doors. There are plenty of TV's to capture any event. The guiness pour keeps you coming back for more.

This is the best REAL Irish pub with REAL Irish food (not just Sheperd's Pie) and REAL Irish sports on all the time. Not to mention the lay out of the place is awesome. Whoever designed that deserves a pat on the back.

Irish Times still seems to be one of the hidden gems within Queen Village, and somehow manages to do so just a block off South Street! This has been a frequent stop for me... The atmosphere is fantastic and they have a wonderful beer selection. The Irish Times staff has been nothing but exceptional and extremely nice. I've had a few conversations with the owners, all of which have been enjoyable and enlightening (either about the place or the neighborhood or irish customs).

Highly recommend this spot, especially for a meal. Whether it's a burger or traditional irish fare, you can not go wrong.

Being from the rural outskirts of Philly, I rarely get into city. I happened to be in town one day last winter with my friend and we had heard about the Irish Times so we dropped in for a visit. What a pleasant surprise to find such a cozy spot in the bustling city! Matt made us feel very welcome and we warmed up to excellent Irish coffee and a draught with good music and conversation to complete the afternoon. Definately a reason to get myself back into town!
