The secret to our success is great musicianship, energetic personalities and a genuine love for what we do. This shows with each performance.With over 30 years of success, our track record sets us apart from other bands. Some bands excel in the club venues while others make their name in the private party arena. None succeed in both like The Exceptions. We are extremely proud of our track record. Our early stages were spent as the house band at Rosewood Caterers. We performed an average of 120 weddings a year for 12 years. When we decided to add clubs to our schedule it was apparent that we had a huge draw at some of the most popular venues in the area. We recently performed with Chicago and Kenny Loggins at The Borgata and we are a main attraction at Trump Marina and Bally's in Atlantic City. We are also invited to perform the national anthem at a Phillies game each summer. An indication of how good a band performs is their repeat clientele. Our list includes Fox 29, Origlio Beverage, Comcast, 610-WIP, PMA Insurance, Parker McCay, Fox-Rothschild, Ballard-Spahr, Taj Mahal and WPST. We would love to add your name to our list!!!

I have followed The Exceptions since the early 1980's and they have been one of the Bestest bands in Philadelphia. Their sound is second to none. If you aren't up out of your seat dancing, you are tapping to the beat. Their harmony is fabulous and their rhythm section can't be beat.

They are the best party band in the Delaware Valley. They are entertaining, energentic and sooooo much fun. I thoroughly enjoy be entertained by the Exceptions on the Deck at Trump Marina every Sunday during the summer. They are awesome!!

Wonderfully entertaining, beautiful voices. Love the horn section. Can do lots of variety of songs. Always professional. I always have a great time when I see them and I've seen them at 2 weddings and hope to hire them for my son's graduation party!
This band is the greatest, they play such a wide variety of music, old and new. Friends of ours (Mike & Maria) introduced us to them a few years ago. We love to see them wherever they are playing as much as possible.

The Exceptions are a super band. I catch them every Sunday afternoon at the deck at trump marina --- me and about 1,200 others! if you don't get there by 12 noon, you don't get a seat or table!
I think The Exceptions have been performing in the Philly area for decades. They played my parents wedding at Rosewood Caterers back in the early 80's. It's amazing that they are just as popular today than they were 20 something years ago. What other band can boast a history like that?
the exceptions are amazing! i know a lot of the bands here but only 1 appeals to all ages - The Exceptions. My friends (mostly in their late 20's/early 30's) love them and here's the cool part - our parents love them too!!!! it's a no contest - Exceptions are #1.
