The Arts Garage (TAG) is a multi-faceted literary and contemporary performance venue. A place that lends itself to artists who are fusing ideas across the media of music, dance, spoken word, fashion design, comedy, acting, film, and a host of other audio and visual performances. We create an accessible and supportive arts community for emerging and budding artists, as well as a place where art dealers, retailers, and theater and performance artists can make themselves accessible and available to the City burgeoning tourism market. The bi-level venue combine restaurant, café and bar with theater and performance entertainment. Promoters and event organizers can book the venue for private parties, book signings, festivals, speaking engagements, workshops, forums and other noteworthy artistic, social and cultural events. TAG is also available for rent to conventioneers for seminars, classes, workshops and private dining.

The Arts Garage constantly gets better and better. I am there every Saturday night for IllVibe's "THE DUPLEX" they got some of the greatest DJ's in the city playing some of the most varied and awesome tunes you can ask for all night long. It's a big place with a lot of room to dance if you're into it, and tons more space to just chill if that's what you wanna do. Plus, it's open late on Saturdays and everyone can do a little something early on a Saturday and then head over to Arts Garage by midnight and get ready to party!!!
Arts Garage is a cultural funky and inspiring place to be.
It was a unique environment and definitely an interesting place to go. I went to see a play and I liked the atmosphere once inside.
Hands down the Arts Garage is the illest place in Philly to party at, due to the fact that it has that old school warehouse vibe and it's constantly evolving as time goes on. I was put on to it from one of my associates that has a party every 1st friday of the month(white t's white belts) and for real that's the only time I come out to party here in Philly cause the party scene is so lame here I don't even bother with it, but the Art's Garage is a sick venue that caters to the artistic community,Ola did his thing!!!

The space is incredible and the owner, Ola, does a great job maintaining a special vibe and aesthetic about the place. Philly, and especially the neighborhoods just outside of Center City, needs more places like this to better improve the community and promote up-and-coming artists of all fields.
This is the best venue in Philly hands down. I love that its a work in progress. If you haven't been in a few weeks you should see it now! So many improvements. It just gets better and better.
Being at the arts garage for a spoken word event or for a party always feels like home with some of the best mix of music I have ever heard. Classy Boyz make the events even hotter!!
The arts garage has the biggest spoken word event that I have ever saw. Vice or Verse. This show is amazing. And there is an after party. It gets no better than that!!
The Arts Garage is proof that an urban community can have healthy and wholesome "Art" right in the midst of a community. We need venues like this in all parts of the city of Philadelphia, this shows that North Philly has positive entertainment venues for everyone to enjoy. It's not just violence in North Philly.

I'm excited about the new venue where you can relax while enjoying plays, poetry reading or kicking your heels up dancing. It's a long time coming and I hope will get the support it needs to thrive in the inner city. I found the proprietor, Mr. Solanke, accommodating and helpful in overseeing each operation. It reminded me of places I visited in New York city and surrounding areas. I wish good things for The Arts Garage and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

TAG is the venue for multicultural events in the Francisville, Fairmount, Art Museum, SpringGarden area. It brings art to this 19130 zip code that going through a housing and cultural neighborhood transformation. Those who are new and long term residents welcome TAG and will continue to attend events given at this unique hot spot.
The Arts Garage is for sure the hottest place to party, enjoy a great show, network and just hang out. Much respect to to Ola, black theater on the rise Umojaa!
The Arts Garage is constantly improving. Every time I go there, there are new additions, better sounding music and a more comfortable atmosphere. This is unusual for a business as young as it is. I love it.
Truly the "cool" place to go at night! Underground feel with awesome authentic music and open bar... Where all are the "cool" people go to be themselves and have FUN!
