Great School, actually teaches anyone from absolute beginners to professionals by building class upon class, a real ballet school for adults, professional dancers and those who love the art and beauty of ballet. Kip knows all of his students and pays personal attention to everyone's individual development. No unpointed toe is ever overlooked or goes uncommented. If you ever wanted to try it, want to get back into or just improve your dancing this is for you.
Simply the best............for all! I've been taking classes with Kip for almost 10 years without any prior ballet training. He's moved twice and I've followed him everytime. Symmetry Dance Wellness is a wonderful part of my life and I highly recommend checking it out. Whatever preconceptions or misconceptions you have of ballet and your abilities - put them aside, it's a decision you won't regret.

I have learned so much and always enjoy going to class! For any inexperienced dancers out there who may be afraid to give it a try, come to one of Kip's classes! I started learning ballet in my 30s with NO previous experience, and I am making progress! Kip is always patient and respectful, and he is a fabulous instructor. I'm so glad I found this studio!
I had to stop taking Ballet classes for 5 years because of an injury of my foot. When I moved to Philadelphia I wanted to start again. I tried a couple of dance schools, but in none of them I felt really comfortable until I found Kip. To me he is one of the best Ballet teachers I've ever had. He takes as much time as he can for each student no matter if beginner or advanced. If you are interested in taking Ballet classes I can absolutely recommend Kip Martin's Symmetry Dance Wellness, even if your last class is very long time ago or if you have never taken Ballet classes before!!!
Just LOVE it!!
Started with Kip in 2006 .. and found out 1 month later that I was expecting my 2nd baby. Oh well, Kip made it possible for me to dance until the baby decided to show up! The BEST place to dance for adults that just want to enjoy dancing. I can only recommend this place to anyone - even if you never took a ballet class when younger, Kip will welcome you and give you as much attention as possible.
So just show up at the studio and ENJOY.
I took ballet as a small child, and hadn't had formal training for years. I chose to return as an adult on a purely recreational basis, but I did hope to have good instruction by someone who took adult students seriously. I was so fortunate to have found such an encouraging, artistically gifted instructor as Kip. I really enjoyed his classes, but was also challenged by them. I can't say enough good things here, so just *go*. I've watched him teach those with no experience and those with decades of experience, and he respects them equally. I'd recommend him to anyone -- at any age or any level -- interested in taking ballet. (Incidentally, I've also seen him perform - his Namja Yoja performance was breathtaking).
Kip Martin is the most mazing dance or fitmess teacher I have ever had! He not only gets you in great shape, but ou also actaully learn to dance. He takes a personla interest in all of his students and aters to all types: beginners, young & old, & professionals. He's the actor's choice for a dance instructor in town, and his studio is conveinent and cozy. Very personal attention and his other students are nice.
Kip Martin is by far the best teacher I have had; Symmetry is a great place for beginners or professionals. He has something for everyone.
