Surflight Theatre is a 450 seat procenium theatre on beautiful Long Beach Island in Ocean County, New Jersey. Surflight produces 10 musicals and 3 plays each season with a resident company of actors, staff & designers. Several concerts are performed at the venue during the summer months, this year featuring: Mickey Rooney and Tommy Emmanuel.
With only 13 rows of seating you are never more that 40 feet from the stage. Surflight Theatre has been producing BROADWAY AT THE BEACH since 1950, and Children's Theatre since 1956. Other programming includes the Surflight Theatre Arts Resource School (STARS) and SURFLIGHT TO GO, a touring educational theatre company

A great evening's entertainment. Professional talent doing great shows. Not a bad seat in the house. Parking is free. It's fun to meet many of the actors after the show. A must see during any Jersey Shore visit, especially on Long Beach Island. The young people's show are well done as well -- and where else can your youngster have a photo op with Peter Pan or Snow White? It keeps getting better every year.

this theater was great ehrn my kids were young. they loved the live plays and the interaction the players had with the audience.

The shows are amazing & very professional. The actors are so nice and meet & greet the kids after the show in the courtyard for photos/autographs/etc.

Great actors ~ cute, twisted fairy tale plots for kids! The relaxed atmosphere and interaction with the kids in the audience make it a fun time!
