Located a few steps from beautiful, newly replenished, Atlantic Ocean beaches, the newly renovated Surf City Hotel is a historic landmark on Long Beach Island. Located in the family oriented Borough of Surf City, this historic and legendary establishment is open daily from April 1st to October 8, 2007.
The restaurant, Pub, Shucks Clam Bar, and Beach Club lounge are open weekends May 4th to June 23rd, daily June 28th to Labor Day, then weekends to October 8th.
The Surf City Hotel's Beach Club lounge offers a variety of musical entertainment on weekends, and four nights during the week. Rock n Roll, Reggae, Tribute bands, and the acoustic duo of the fun loving "The Bill & Andy Show" on Sunday afternoons. Long Beach Idol II competition every Wednesday starting July 4th.

Great Rooms and close to the beach
Surf City Hotel is a great place for both young adults and families with little children. They have an amazing restaurant on the premises and a liquor store for your convenience. They hold wedding receptions, bachelor parties etc. The rooms are unique and there are many different types to suit any size group or family. My family and I always stay in the apartment there are two rooms, kitchen, living room etc. We love the Jersey Shore and Surf City Hotel is where we stay I would recommend it to everyone !
LOVE this place. It's cool, it's hip, it's comfortable, it's completely appealing without trying too hard. The restuarant has deeeelish seafood dishes, cheap eats and satisfying pub fare too. Their mixologist tends a mean bar. You won't get parched waiting for a drink from those folks.
Enjoy a stay at the hotel, or just a cocktail after a hot day in the sun.
I say go - just go to this place. LBI is filled with gems and this is definitely one of them!
