Escape to the quiet serenity of Strathmere, NJ while being close to the Jersey Shore action . . .

Strathmere, NJ is a peaceful little town located on a barrier island between Sea Isle City and Ocean City, NJ. It was formerly called Corson's Inlet. Although the tip of the island continues to be called Corson's Inlet after John and Peter Corson, the main town received its new name of Strathmere in 1912.

Strathmere, NJ is mainly a Summer town, and only has a year round population of less than 200 people. During the summer months, over 60% of the homes are available as vacation rentals. Corson's Inlet on the Strathmere side along with the bay, and the southern tip of Ocean City, are part of Corson's Inlet State Park. The park is a protected wildlife preserve.

Escape to Strathmere. Relax, it's not Sea Isle. It's cool, it's hip and it's a hidden treasure. Don't tell everyone or that will surely change.
