SHOW PLACE has been named one of the top ten ice cream parlours in the USA by New York Times' CHILD MAGAZINE and regularly wins the local Vacationers' Choice Award in the Summer Times' ISLANDER for "Best Ice Cream Shop."
At least one person at every table is usually asked to sing, dance, or do something crazy for his or her dessert, and afterward all are treated to a tuneful cabaret show featuring our "Waitri," who are all professional performers.

after a great show at the surflite....we would go right to the show place to enjoy some of the best icecream i have ever tasted.
I have been going to the Surflight theater since the early '60's. The Showplace was a lovely addition as I grew up. It is a perfect end to a day- whether or not I see a show. I recommend the Phantom of the Opera or the Peter Pan, both are delicious - as ANY of the ice cream. It's a family tradition. Now we take our grandchildren and we wouldn't miss the Showplace each and every time we go the the island.
Ice cream is delicious! The shows are so entertaining & amusing. Waiters are incredibly talented. Fun for the entire family.
Because it's close to the Surflight Theater...
This was my favorite place to go as a child with my grandfather after he took us to a show at the Surflight Theater. I have been going to LBI since I was a small child. When my children were little, my husband and I would take them to a show and then to the Showplace!
Great memories
It's the most fun you can have while eating Ice Cream. Laughing and singing and being part of the show. It's all great fun.
