Shackamaxon catered my wedding reception and did an excellent job!Mike Schmidt was so accommodating. I'm a meeting planner and host many functions each year. Mike was great about working with my ideas and incorporating them into the space we used as well as his own ideas about the space. The food was outstanding. Our guests keep commenting about it. We also get comments on how nice the staff was. We were so pleased with Shackamaxon - I'll recommend them up and down. Thanks!

The food for my event was amazing, and each guest who attended the affair commented on not only its quality and taste but also on the creativeness and the variety of the food for the event. In addition, the staff from the caterer were extremely professional and experienced in handling a diverse and sophisticated group. Michael Schmidt particularly did an outstanding job in consulting with me before the event and in coordinating and organizing all of the details of the evening and event itself. I have recommended these caterers many times since my gala New Year's Eve event, and everyone who has selected these caterers for their affairs has also been very pleased with Shackamaxon Catering. One final note is that Shackamaxon can provide special attention to an event that is geared towards a gay clientele if that happens to be one of your needs. This catering company is top notch!!!!!

Shackamaxon Far exceeded my expectations. Mike told me not to worry about a thing and he wasr right on. The day of my wedding, Mike was constantly moving as his staff responded. The preparation he puts into his works was definatly reflexted on my wedding day.
Great personal service with good prices. We dealt with Mike. He listens to what you want and provides his ideas from his experience. We knew that if there were any issues, that we would be in good hands. We highly recommend them.
Shackamaxon was amazing -- from the way they worked with us on pricing, to the fantastic tasting at our house, to the detailed prep the day before our wedding, to the seamless and impressive work they did on site. They were so much more than "just" our caterer. They pretty much served as wedding planner and coordinators too. They vowed to perform beyond our expectations and they absolutely did. We'd absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants delicious food, fantastic service, and a team that genuinely cares about the event they're catering.
The staff was hospitable, friendly, and professional. They arrived on time had seamless operation and did everything they were contracted to do and MORE! Their service was impeccable and everyone at our wedding wsa so impressed with the food (they all ate very well) and the presentation of everything. If there was a food olympics these guys should get a gold medal!
