Ladies my name is Dominique O’Conner and my wedding was New Years Day 2008. I purchased my gown from a David's Bridal in New Jersey. After so many mishaps we decided not to have my gown altered there. While talking to a friend at lunch about my ordeal I was given Jovon's number by a person sitting at the next table. Out of curiosity and left with no other options I gave Jovon a call. It was from that conversation I knew that my gown was going to be perfect on my wedding day. She was so calming; it felt as though I knew her for years although we had only spoken for a short time. She came to my home with all the tools necessary to perform the fitting of my dress. Once she finished the pinning I knew exactly what my gown was going to look like, she even pinned my bustle. The next time I saw Jovon, it was for my second fitting. When she unzipped the bridal bag, my mother said my eyes sparkled with gleam. My wedding was on a stuffed bust form and steamed to perfection. All the work had been completed I remembered thinking “it was too beautiful to touch” but she insisted. The fit was perfect, just as I was told it would be my bustle was wonderful. My experience with Jovon was totally unbelievable. Ladies if you are getting married and your gown needs to be altered call Jovon she has hands of gold.
