Joseph Santucci, Sr. and his wife, Philomena are truly two visionary people who revolutionized the pizza industry for all time. Their most famous creation: Santucci Square Pizza. Buy increasing the size of the baking pan to a full 12 x 18 inches, Joe and Philomena were on their way to a taste sensation. Next, they combined the most superior seasonings to produce their famous Santucci sauce. Instead of placing in underneath the layer of grated cheese like most other pizzerias they took the finest 100% whole milk mozzarella cheese, sliced it and placed it directly on the dough and placed the sauce on top. Then, to remove any acidity in the sauce and to melt the cheese they raised the oven temperature from the standard 300 degrees to 550 degrees. The result? A revolutionary product that began to make history.

Does anyone know when the Santucci's in Wildwood is opening. I always drive to Philly just for Santucci's. No other pizza even comes close.
I have been eating Santucci's since the age of 5 years old. It was the first phone number (original store on "O" Street in Juniata) I ever memorized. There sauce is unmatched, and their crust is perfect...crunchy on the ends, not too chewy. To the person who mentioned the low quality at the Roxborough location, I suggest you eat at a location in Northeast Philly. Santucci's has always been the best and will remain the best to me.

Love the pizza at the Welsh store. Best pizza by far. Amazing sauce atop milky mozzarella, a perfect blend of spices, and an excellent crust that you eat by itself, dip in olive oil, or use to wipe up any extraneous sauce . Great with a dry Italian red or a Yuengling.
