Red Sky, a ultra chic, stylish restaurant & lounge, located at 224 Market Street in Old City. Red Sky's dramatic is inspired by the industrial simplicity of New York's SoHo & tropical sophistication of Miami's South Beach. Lime green tiled floors, a glowing blue aluminum staircase, custom designed black leather banquettes, ottomans & steel tables punctuate the stark white space. Two story windows overlooking Market Street create an airy feel & brightness. An outdoor cafe seats 30 in warm weather months. Creative specialty cocktails such as the Smortini tempt patrons. Red Sky offers a red glowing glass vip mezzanine level with private bar and bathrooms. In addition to having the best bar scene in Philadelphia, Chef Michael Salvitti is at the helm in the kitchen preparing sexy comfort foods. Signature menu items include lobster quesadilla, mac & cheese, tuna tartare, hand cut sky fries with five dipping sauces, sesame crusted ahi tuna, pear sake salmon & dim sum for two.

Exceptional service and exciting atmosphere. Red Sky impressed me right from the minute I arrived. The doormen were courteous and educated about the menu and drink options. The food was outstanding, our waitress was a delight, and even the busboys were friendly. It is certainly a novelty to find a successful restaurant in Philadelphia that doesn't take its customers for granted. I would recommend them to anyone and already have to many friends!
