I have not yet visited the new location,but I'm looking forward to it. I really enjoyed my times at the old theatre, I loved the closeness of everything.
They offer a diverse selection of plays and playwriters. They will risk doing firsts if they feel there is quality in the material.

PTC offers a group of phenomenal plays acted by some of the best talent on the East Coast. Often, these productions are tried out here in Philly and go to NY and London. PTC transcends the local theater scene.
Some of the best plays I've seen anywhere have been at the Phila. Theater Company. They also do wonderful outreach work with high school students.
