Everything from the architecture of the building to the myriad and varied collections not to forget the featured current exhibits can't help but leave one impressed. In many ways this is an unfair category to vote in for we are blessed in the Philadelphia area with more than our share of wonderful museums and each leaves you with a special unique and lasting impression having visited their museum. I have chosen the Philadelphia Museum of Art for I visited in more frequently than any other single museum and it has been a part of my life for as many years as I can recall.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art has a collection that is beyond the imagination. It has programs for all ages and should be recognized as the staple of the museum community that it is. This museum has more to offer than anyone can imagine and shouldn't be overlooked by anyone - tourists and locals alike!

there are a lot of great museums in this area, but seriously, if you had to pick one - it's the Art Museum. Great space, world class special exhibits. It puts Philly on the map for art

On my fortieth visit to the museum, I get the same thrill I experienced when I first climbed the hill. Whether I revisit the tea house and Brancusi sculptures or take in a special exhibit, I leave with a renewed respect for the creative spirit and imagination that distinguishes our species.

What a treasure we have in the Philadelphia museum of Art! We are lucky to have such diverse exhibitions to come through the museum. The permanent collection is wonderful. The programs available to excite young children's interest in art are excellent. The Perelman Building is an amazing addition to the museum. Bravo to this city for giving us a truly world class museum.
