I think it has all been said. The Peter Shields is top of the line! We spent a romantic weekend getaway and could not have asked for more. The staff is very knowledgable & will go out of their way to make you comfortable. Jill and Bridget are assets to the business. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

If you start asking about a great restaurant, inn or venue in Cape May, the Peter Shields gets everyone's nod of approval. We researched all of the venues for a smaller wedding and reception. We were surprised at how often we encountered some one who hosted or attended a reception at the Peter Shields. We even met those who proposed to their loved ones over a romantic dinner in the dining room.

The accolades were enthusiastic and without hesitation. The view of the ocean is unobstructed. We wanted a beach wedding ceremony and the comfort of a beautiful Inn for the reception. Bridgette is very helpful in working through all of the details.

The Peter Shields earned our vote!

Amazing way to spend any night especially a special event. We had a late dinner, 8:45pm, the Staff from the front desk to the bus boys were still at their best. Cheerful, classy and knowledgeable. Then the food was professionally delivered to our table. The Elk and Rack of Lamb where the best ever. We dine out alot, we enjoy and demand creative and beyond spectacular food. Peter Shields goes far beyond that. Plus it is a BYOB so we could bring out special favorite wine. Oh yes the atmosphere and views make this location the best of the tri-state area.

Clean, best view I could imagine, staff was so nice, breakfast was homemade and fresh. Can't beat the wine, cheese and veggies every night either! Great memories.
