Luis Garcia is the best piercer in the area. I made the MISTAKE once, of going to a (very) nearby "piercing only establishment" because Luis was off that day, and I had my heart set... it was Luis I ran to, that saved my poorly done, rejecting piercing and turned it into the beauty it is today, for not one dollar, just because he CARES!!! My Mom even goes to Luis for her piercings! ;)

Although I have never gotten a tattoo at the shop, LUIS is the only person I recommend for piercing. He is THE BEST PIERCER IN THE TRI STATE AREA!!!

Noka Oi is by far the best shop an apprentice can ask for. It's inspiring to be around artists that are all very talented, and KNOW what they are doing. You will get more than just a tattoo when you walk through the door.

Their skills, talent, professionalism, social interactions, intelligence, and integrity completely surpass any other shop in the City. The range on their work/portfolios will clearly please the masses and they have uber amounts of pride in their city. The shop name is also clever and well suited for their craftsmanship, be it that the phrase "No Ka Oi" in hawaiian means "is of the best" (loosely translated).

My vote is a definate. No Ka Oi Tiki tattoo on 4th between south and Baimbridge is Philly's hottest tattoo and piercing shop.

The staff rocks! Their artists are very knowledgeable regarding artists, tattoo and otherwise. I went in with an idea for a pinup girl....and came out with a work of art! Carla Hopkins is the best!!!! XOXO to the staff at No Ka Oi Tiki Tattoo!
