My family and I traveled from the Jersey shore area just to taste a dish and discover what all the craze could be about. I was told to come back in a hour if I desired to make a pick up order. After waiting a hour to return, I was then told, in an unsympathetic or apologetic manner, that there was a miscalculation in the wait time and I would have to wait at least another forty five minutes or I could wait two hours to dine in. That night I witnessed other families and couples walk away because of the horrible wait time.
If you are looking for someone to cater your wedding call the KeVen Parker Companies. I had my wedding done ten years ago. It was unforgettable. More than I expected. The food was delicious and the attention to detail was unbelievable. It did not feel stressed at all.
Ms. Tootsie's soul food is the food to your soul, It's very good and the portions are big you get your money's worth, I'm proud to help out a true brother that's trying to do good in the city of Philadelphia, PA, good luck Kevin and keep up the good work, never know who watching and willing to learn how to open up their own business.
I love the food at Ms Tootsie, it is what soul food suppose to be . Great big portions, great atmosphere and great service. Love the okra and corn not to mention the sweet yams oh and the tea oh my good the tea I am addicted to the tea. Hands down number one.
Can I please get a FEW GALLONS of the iced tea!!!! One of the best brews that I have ever has the pleasure of tasting. My taste buds are getting excited just thinking about it!!
Prices are reasonable and the juice, main course and desserts are all that! It's truly a meal for the soul!!

My friends took me to Ms. Tootsie's for my birthday. The food was "excellent". My Mom and I are good soul food cooks but the cooks at Ms. Tootsie gave me a new definition for soul food. I was so impressed that my friends and I will be going back this weekend.
The atmosphere and food is simply the best in town.
My friends took me to Ms. Tootsie's for my birthday on Sept 13, 2007. I have never tasted soul food this good in my life. My mom and I are good cooks but the cooks at Ms. Tootsie's are beyond "excellent." I was so impressed that my friends and I are going back this weekend.
I no longer live in Philly but when ever I visit I must stop by Ms Tootsie's to get the best soul food around
