They have the raddest glasses, they're all hip, and they are really sweet. It doesn't hurt that they're all incredibly attractive, too. I swear by them.
Every single member of staff will spend any amount of time helping you find the most fabulous glasses... and they all have such a great sense of humor.

Modern Eye is a wonderful store. First of all, it has a truly exceptional selection of eyeglasses that are both of superior quality and absolutely stylish. I can even find my favored brand there, the Theo glasses from Belgium. Secondly, the service is reliable and punctual--both with eyeglasses and contact lenses. Finally, there are the sales people--the most helpful, honest and the friendliest group one can imagine. One goes in short sighted--one comes out cool.

Yes, the place is cool, and it's obvious that they have all the styles that the other places wish they had. But for me, the draw is the honesty with which they have dealt with me over many years and many eyeglasses. Their knowledge becomes your knowledge. They have enabled me to make informed decisions about lenses, etc. I have not experienced this elsewhere. And the most comprehensive eye examinations I have ever experienced. All this without being expensive. They really seem to be on the level.
Modern Eye is the real thing. World class - you can tell by the lines they carry. But the service is down home friendly.

I have a difficult prescription and I can't tell you how important it is for my optical to be knowledgeable. Dr. Chris, the owner, and Dr. Brian are fantastic and they have an amazingly trained, knowledgeable staff and the technology to back up their promises. And to top it all they have the largest selection of the truly coolest eye wear in the entire city. I have gone elsewhere and will ONLY go to Modern Eye now.
