I am an executive from New York who came to Meritage for a business dinner. I have dined at many fine restaurants but Meritage Philadelphia's food is the best I have ever tasted. The food was plated beautifully. My co-worker had the crabcakes which I couldn't resist sampling, they were so light and delicious and the butterfish melted in my mouth. The chef is amazing and definitely has a wonderful career ahead of him.
the chef offers a roasted chicken with cauliflower truffle puree' which is simply to die for. Jason Goodman is without a doubt the best chef in the city.

The owners are just the most amazing people. Loving, devoted and concerned about your entire time at Meritage. They even reopened the venue on slow Tuesday, so that I could have some of their amazing soup.
