There's something deeply comforting about the checkerboard linoleum floor, fresh flowers and substantial wooden bar in this friendly neighborhood hangout. Though there are plenty of standouts on the lochmenu, the fish and chips are tops, neither salty nor bland, that will take you straight to fried-food nirvana. Quite the beer buff, owner P.J. McMenamin stocks all manner of wonderful brews: Sawtooth, Weiheistephaner Doppelbock, as well as Woodchuck hard cider and the full Sierra Nevada lineup.

Definitely the best Pub around.
Best fish n' chips, really solid menu - great everyday meals in addition to delicious, unique, and fresh dishes (including salad with goat cheese and lamb, yum!). Great just for drinks - good beer selection.
