Max and David's has great food and a varied menu that changes with the seasons. I've had the lamb, the steak and the brisket. It's all good. Wonderful lunch menu, too.

Finally, a kosher restaurant that is on par with many high-end, beautifully appointed, fabulous restaurants that do not cater to those keeping kosher! The food is superb and does not fall into the yuk category that so many of the kosher restaurants in Philadelphia do (and did). Bravo!!!!!!!

The food is amazing. The atmosphere warm and friendly. The staff is professional and does not hover, and I never feel rushed. Oh, and by the way, the place is spotless.

The food was awesome!, and the service was too!! We enjoyed our first visit (tonight) on our 3rd anniversary, and walked away with a great experience and memory that will last our lifetime.

Great food that just happens to be kosher. It's also a great restaurant for the lactose intolerant. Kosher meat restaurants can't use any form of dairy.
