Marra's is a South Philly favorite. If you live in that endlessly fascinating part of town, it's likely the place your parents went on their first date; pizza at Marra's was probably one of the places you and your friends went to on those first out-without-the-parents excursions. It's also a local hot spot before a game at the nearby sports arenas -- an unfussy family place with everything you would expect from an aging institution.

Marra's has been a long time tradition in my family. I was introduced to Marra's by my father about 10 years ago. He grew up in South Philly and went to Marra's his whole life. They have the most authentic tasting food. It's eating the greatest Italian food you've ever tasted, except my Grandmom's, in a great atmosphere. Try the pizza with broccoli rabe or the chicken marsala. Everyone is very friendly, and they have great prices. They not only have wonderful cannoli, but also the best Chocolate Cake around...Try it with a carafe of red wine...YUM!

I travel to Phila every month for the past 5 years, and my trip is not complete until I get my Marra's pizza and cannoli. Not only is it the best pizza in Phila, nothing here in pittsburgh compares to it. I wait all month for my next trip to Marra's.
To my friends at Marra's. Unbelievable Pizza to start! The pizza is easily best in Phila., after the pizza try the linguine pescatore or mussels in white and their bread is ridiculous. I went there the night before I got married and many times with my kids and recently the nite after my wife asked for a divorce. that is 24 years for the marriage thing and overall about 40 years. Somehow people don't seem to know about Marrra's, which is a terrific Italian family restaurant in South Philly, and it also has great pizza and Italian wedding soup, among many other items. We used to be regulars, until we moved out of Pennsylvania; now we average a visit once a year and always love it. Great quality!

When I lived in South Philly, Marra's was my go to place for everything! Their pizza is excellent and an awesome value. I went there a lot for dinner and for 2 people with carafe of wine, appetizers, main dish, and dessert was like $60 bucks!! Chicken Parm is awesome!!
THE FOOD IS GOOD AND THE PRICES ALWAYS REASONABLE. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO EAT AND HAVE A NICE TIME. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE SERVICE BECAUSE SOMETIMES YOU WAIT AS IF NO ONE CARE ABOUT YOU.

I am hooked on Marra's Italian specialties. My all time favorite is the Eggplant Parm with Ricotta Cheese. It's delicious.
