Michoacana has spoiled me! Their fresh ingredients make for DELICIOUS ice cream and I can't eat store bought any more. I love the lime sherbet and lime ice because the real lime gives them just the right tartness to complement the sweet. Both are delightful on a hot day! Also great are corn with cinnamon, rice pudding, toasted coconut, mango and coffee with fudge and cinnamon. I wish they had a Mexican dark chocolate with cayenne and cinnamon!

Everything you could want in an ice cream shop - delicious ice cream and other frozen treats, wonderful choice of creative flavors, friendly and helpful staff, and an old-fashioned-neighborhood-store atmosphere and look. For me, someone who thinks ice cream is its own food group, La Michoacana is heaven on earth.
