Jonathan Looper Antiques has been providing collectors with the tools and knowledge to acquire, build, and maintain outstanding collections of period furniture and fine art for over ten years. As a conservator/restorer Jonathan has developed an intimate understanding of furniture and the applied arts that compliment his areas of expertise. He has had the luxury of being able to deconstruct rare objects, enabling him to experience the thought processes of the craftsmen who originally created the pieces. From understanding how wood ages to maintaining the quirky construction techniques found on early vernacular furniture, Jonathan has the conceptual aptitude and keen eye to preserve the integrity of his collection.
