For thirty years, International House has been the leading venue in Philadelphia for repertory film programming, independent premieres and cutting edge avant-garde cinema from around the world. Film at International House fosters a greater appreciation for film and the moving image as both a powerful means of artistic expression and as an avenue for greater cultural, political and social understanding. We seek to serve International House's residents as well as the Greater Philadelphia region's multinational and multicultural community through our year-round exhibition and advocacy of artistically significant, socially relevant films and programs.

In November of last year they had a Dewahli festival. I had always been interested in Indian culture and they hosted an excellent event. I never had so much fun!

One gets a chance to see truly independent films, foreign films, films in mini festivals following a particular theme that no one else would screen.
But, I do miss LInda Blackaby.
Price reasonable also.
Atmosphere pleasant.

This is a great organization since they offer international flavor without any political or religious agenda at reasonable cost.

The programs at the International House are always interesting. They are the only venue in the city to have such diverse programing. I have been attending programs at the International House for over 30 years.
