Independence Seaport Museum has the biggest toys in town -- the USS Olympia, Admiral Dewey's Spanish American War flagship, and the WWII submarine, the USS Becuna. Both ships are National Historic Landmarks, moored in the basin behind the Museum, and open to the public. The Museum, which showcases the Philadelphia region's maritime heritage, also has two floors of interactive exhibits, educational programs and group tours, a working wooden boat shop, a nautical gift shop, a concert hall, and one of the nation's premier regional maritime research centers.

Because Independence Seaport Museum has the biggest toys in town -- the USS Olympia, Admiral Dewey's flagship in the Spanish-American War and the oldest floating steel warship in the world, and the World War II submarine, the USS Becuna! Both of these National Historic Landmarks are open for tours! The Museum also features two floors of exhibits highlighting Philadelphia's maritime history, a working wooden boat shop, one of the nation's best nautical libraries and archives, and beautiful public spaces including a concert hall, rooftop amphitheater, outdoor terraces, and rental facilities for weddings, parties, meetings and more -- all on Penn's Landing overlooking the breezy Delaware River.
