Category: Italian (72 listings)

Guido's Italian Restaurant is an extraordinary dining experience from beginning to end. The staff exudes warmth and genuine hospitality. Guido's staff is always prompt, but not rushed.

Guido's Italian Restaurant is one of the few restaurants in Philadelphia where you can actually have a quiet conversation. Once past the foyer the restaurant separates into three pieces on either side of the bar, one which holds the main dining room, one is the Grotto or bar area, the other holds a set of smaller rooms down stairs which can be reserved for private occasions of up to twelve guests. These rooms are known as The Wine Cellars.

My daughter had her wedding there and it was so elegant. Everything was perfect from the actual ceremony to the delicious dinner. The Marsico went out of their way to make this a day we will always remember.

Guido's Italian Restaurant has a loyal following because of the exceptional dining here. You are served when you need to be served and in all warmth and hospitality. The staff make you feel like a welcome guest in their own home. But it is the food that separates Guido's apart from just another Italian Restaurant. Regional cooking of northern Italy is a favorite, but many other specialties are available; ask if you don't see it on the menu. Clients you might see there are other chefs on their day off, actors from the theater, or perhaps personalities from nearby major metropolitan cities. The Grotto has an excellent bar with great wine service as well. After dinner drinks, desserts and coffees are always perfectly presented to complete your meal. The Marsico Ballrooms are splendid locations for fabulous celebrations and holidays. Really worth a remember for a small or large special event.
