The best English style Ales around, a subscriber to the slow food movement and a wonderful dark pub interior makes for a great place to catch up over a few pints.
A great atmosphere, well thought out food and a nice change of pace with British style beers makes this a brew-pub with its own unique vibe that others lack.
Better atmosphere then the other brewpubs and the beer is always good.
Incredibly well crafted beers, good entertainment, romantic dining, a great bar menu, large rooms for private parties, a charming B&B, 275 years of historic significance.... and did I mention? The beer is fantastic.

The Raspberry ale is to die for.
I have to give my vote to Gen. Lafayette. Old world charm, fantastic beer, great food... if you haven't been here yet you have to check it out! I've never had a bad time.

The General has a laid back environment with great entertainment, friendly people, and even better beer. Im a "blonde" head myself! Go in and try it!
