Finnigan's Wake became so popular so fast that it is hard to remember a time when it did not grace the City of Brotherly Love. All Irish bands in Greater Phila-delphia want to play in the Quiet Man's Pub, which is chock full of mementoes from that great movie. Even the great Maureen O'Hara herself loves the pub and can reminisce for hours about the movie and her co-star, John Wayne. The Pub also contains invaluable antiques from the"Dicken's Village" which was a major attraction at Strawbridges during the Christmas Season.

Honestly, I WAS excited to go here after I was 21. I went with 6 other male and female friends and was not impressed. Too much white trash, expensive shots, and bouncers who believe they are above the law. nice paint job on the exterior though
I attended the Police Benefit for the fallen officers in Philly on Weds, Nov 7th...What a turnout and all three floors were packed. The staff rocks and they really make you feel welcome there!! Great of ya to host this great event!!

Best all-over Irish pub/club out there! Always good music. St. Patty's Day is the best time to go. We've taken to making it a whole family affair (minus the minors of course, but they still serve family style Irish buffet on the top floor)....
I went to Finnigan's for my bachelorette party and hundreds of times prior to that. One of the best spots to get a Guinness and hang out with friends!!
I have been to Finnigan's Wake numerous times and have competed there in the Irish stew contest. Great place to be and owners that give back to the community on so many levels, with numerous event through out the year.
I like how it gives bands the chance to show get their name out there.
Every time was the best time. Rock upstairs and Irish down, Wow.

Cavanaugh's River Deck is open now for it's sixth season with a brand new menu, but same fun attmosphere. Great nightly dinner and drink specials. Sunday brunch noon to four. Private parties and corporate events welcome.
