Dave’s road to fame began with a strong hankerin’ for fine barbecue and a stronger desire to make the finest slow-smoked barbecue folks had ever tasted. He visited rib shacks, roadside joints, every hole-in-the-wall or fancy pants supper club he could, all in search of the most succulent meats, savory seasonings and lipsmackin’ sauces around.

Prices, Family Style setting and tasty
They are the closest thing to southern BBQ that I've found here.
They have the best BBQ for the best prices the atmosphere is true to the style of cooking. It is a great place to bring the kids (a balloon artist walks around on the weekends making animals for the kids) we love it - I tell everyone to go there.

Famous Dave's is good, darn good! However, I recently had Nelson's BBQ in Baltimore 'burbs and it was simple the BEST! I hear Nelson is a former NFL player. But locally, Famous Dave's is king.

Famous Dave's has the Best BBQ around and the service is genuine.
Famous Dave's serves Real Honest BBQ. It doesn't matter if you Dine In, Take Out, or have it Catered, it is always Famous. They aren't the cheapest, but I get the most value for my money!
