Eternal Etchings is a small family run studio, with lots of bright, friendly atmosphere, that sets it apart from most of the local tattoo establishments. Megan Murphy is the primary artist at Eternal. She has her Bachelors Degree of Fine Art in Illustration, from the Maryland Institute College of Art and has been tattooing ever since. As well as being "the Mom", Melody Murphy makes sure the studio runs smoothly. She not only takes care of the phones, schedule, and paperwork, but she is always there to greet and help prospective clients. Eternal Etchings uses only single use, autoclave, sterile needles and equipment. All NJ and local Health Department standards are strictly complied with. Megan is a member of the Alliance of Professional Tattooists and has taken a Blood Borne Pathogens Exam. There is a wide variety of "flash" (commercially prepared tattoo designs) to choose from, or Megan will gladly give a quote for custom work. Cover up and clean up are her specialty. Most standard flash design starts at $40-$50, depending on size, colors, and complexity. Her most public claim to fame is the tattoo of a dragon on the neck of (Mr. "Thong Song") Sisquo, formerly of Dru Hill and painting Charlie Sheen's jacket in the major motion picture "Major League II".

Megan is the best tattoo artist I have ever seen. She has inked rapper Sisqo and I think she painted the jacket that Charlie Sheen wore in Major League 2.
