n 1987 Dr. Ron Forlano, a retired dentist from Warminster, Pa., moved with his wife June to the little beach community of Duck on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Their four sons were sent into the world to fend for themselves. The youngest, Ron Jr. was a local rock musician and had his own painting business. David, the artist, became successful with his fine art and jewelry under the business name Citi Zen Cane based in Philadelphia. Chris, the oldest, after deciding that teaching music was not for him, became interested in the restaurant business and worked for many years as a cook, pizza chef and restaurant manager. In 1988 the former dentist realized a dream and opened the Duck Deli with entrepreneur son Ken. David drew the Duck Logo and the rest was history. Currently, the Duck Deli is the place to go to get "Outrageous BBQ" on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Ron Jr. and partner Jay have opened the Duck Deli To Go restaurant in Southern Shores also located on the Outer Banks. It is with my pleasure, from our family to yours, we present The Duck Deli BBQ Restaurant. The best of North Carolina right here in Bucks County.

The Duck Deli has never ceased to satisfy me. Every time I go, I get friendly service, great food, and cheap prices. I love having southern-tasting bbq so close to home!

I absolutely love their food. I've never eaten there and had a bad experience- or left with an empty stomach!! Not only do they serve awesome food, but their dining room gives an "at home" feeling, and their servers are always pleasant as well. I love this place!
All of their food is wonderful! The owner, Chris, and everyone who works there, are very friendly and make you feel at home. We held our wedding rehersal dinner there and everyone enjoyed the food,the atmosphere and how they decorated for us. The Duck Deli, New Britain,PA is definitely our favorite place to go!! All Enjoy

The Duck Deli, not only has the best BBQ, but the best food as well. Their menu is so diverse, with Italian classics as well as BBQ and sandwiches. Their waitstaff is the best and I can leave full without having to pay an arm and a leg.
