Executive Chef Tony Salzarulo, a Ship Bottom Resident, is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of a NEW concept in the food service industry: The Dark Star Café. Drawing from his many years of experience at some of the finest properties in the New York Metropolitan area, as well as, the last five seasons here on Long Beach Island, The Dark Star Café LLC will be your prime resource for the highest quality chef prepared soups, sauces, salsas, pizza & prepared foods. Favorites include gourmet pizza, home-cooked deli meats, roasted vegetables, crab cakes & barbecued spare ribs, even homemade mozzarella. We will also feature our unique selection of spice rubs, marinades & salad dressings, designed to make your next home prepared meal as good as any you would find in your favorite restaurant. We have experienced a tremendous response in advance of this idea and are looking forward to satisfying the desire of our customers to enjoy fine food prepared here or in their home.

The food here is terrific. It is gourmet quality and affordable. The staff is great also.
