Our staff is professional, caring and highly trained in their field. What’s unique about our schools is not only the impeccable professional training, but also the nurturing environment our people provide with their leadership, mentorship and friendships.
We evaluate our program regularly and add new and exciting programs that will enhance the student’s education in the arts. Our goal is to build confidence, educate, motivate and develop skills that will make our students outstanding individuals in both the arts and in many other life skills. Developing opportunities, nurturing a love for the arts, and advancing the students technically, musically and creatively is my ambition and lifelong commitment. My personal love for performance has encouraged me to reach out to educate and motivate students in performance. I firmly believe "There is always something new to be learned, we must seek, find and shower our children with new and exciting curriculum in dance, music and theatre."

COMAD has provided my daughter with great dancing opportunities that have helped create her passion. She loves the school. Even though her school friends dance at studios closer to our home, she prefers the conservatory and seizes every opprtunity to brag about it. I'll just keep on driving.
Teachers are very experienced and nice. My kids are having great time there while learning dancing!
I have been dancing at the conservatory of music and dance since I was in first grade. COMAD is absolutely amazing- The teachers work so hard and so do the students! Please vote for COMAD!

My 4 year old daughter is in her 2nd year of dance now at the conservatory! They always take a personal interest in the students no matter how old they are. I absolutely love the conservatory!!!! :)

The Conservatory is a great place to nurture your child's inner dance creativity. The staff is patient with younger children but teaches older students discipline while encouraging creativity and basics to the art of dance
I put my daughter in dance class here about 2 years ago and we absolutely loved it. My daughter loved the teacher and the other girls, but she didnt like dancing at all. After being there for 2 years now, she loves it more than anything. She constantly taps around the house and reviews her ballet positions. Conservatory is a wonderful place for all ages.
My two daughters absolutely love dancing here. At first, they did not want to go at all, mainly because they had to wear tights. At their first class, they cried and whined all the way to the Conservatory, and even in the building. When it was time for class, I walked them in and they saw all the other little girls and they ran off. It was like there was a great aura to the place that made them quit crying, which was fine with me! They love it here, my wife and I love it here, and our family loves it here when it comes to the recital. We couldn't be more happier. Thank you Conservatory!

I have been coming to this school my whole life and I absolutely love it! The teachers are supportive and very nice. Overall it is a great environment. I was a student here and I am currently sending my daughter here. She is very happy and loves all of her classes. I would only recommend the Conservatory of Music and Dance!
This school is awesome and totally deserves to win. It's definitely the best in philly! I have been going here for about 10 years and I don't have a single complaint!
Words can't even describe how I feel about COMAD. It is so amazing! I have been going there for over ten years, and it really is just like a big family there. Whether we are performing at competition, Christmas shows, Spring Recitals, Rome, Disneyworld, or even the Governor's mansion, these three studios have the best and most talented students around. VOTE FOR THE CONSERVATORY! You won't regret it. (:
My two daughters have been dancing here for 4 years. I remember when my youngest, who is now age 7, first started dancing. Like most 3 year olds, she did not want to leave mommy. The teacher actually allowed me to sit in the room with her for the beginning of class. 5 minutes had passed and she was already on her feet dancing with the other girls. I told her that I would watch her through the window outside the door because mom's are not permitted to sit in the class, but she just looked at me and said "okay!". She was having so much fun. Both of my daughters love it at the Conservatory and I am extremely happy with our choice!
teachers are fabulous, and there are a lot of opportunities to do all kinds of fun things like travel, compete, etc. there's a program for everyone wether you're a serious ballet student, or a dancer just interested in taking classes for fun - COMAD's got it all! and not just dance there's drama classes/productions + music as well :)
I have tried to help my sister find numerous dance studios for her 2 daughters. I found the Conservatory about 3 years ago and looked into it for her. She no sooner was sending her 3 and 5 year old here for dance that fall, later in the season i might add. The staff was very nice and kind and let them join even though it was November! My sister is so happy here and I've gone to their recitals and they are like no other. I'm glad my nieces are here, I wouldn't want them to go anywhere else!
Wow, what can i say more than I am so pleased to be a part of the COMAD community. Everyone is so kind and friendly, and there is never a time my daughter or I feel out of place. The teachers are incredible, each intriguing the interest of all the children, in their own way while still properly instructing the students. I have seen some of the older girls that are absolutely amazing and choose to dance here every night. They also, are not a cliquey group. I know of one girl, I believe she graduated last year and is coming back this year, tried to unite everyone together. She got all the kids talking to each other and I thought that was incredible. The owner is friendly, nice, and tries to do everything and anything for her students. The three different studios are amazing, making it simple for anyone in the montgomery county to access this phenomenal dance studio. I wish COMAD the best of luck, as they deserve it.

and the conservatory is amazing, ive been to the shows they put on, not just recitals, but christmas benefits and musical theatre productions, and they are just brilliant. my daughter absolutely loves it here and we are never going to switch to a different dance studio.
i would join the best best dance studio in the philly area just so i could see kristin gorman, and learn how to be a jerk or something like that.
