EXTREMELY Disappointed - VERY Bad Experience with Product, Staff, & Management.
They were so highly recommended, it was a shock to be treated so poorly.
I purchased a small bag of licorice (1/4 lb for $2.50) and didn't care for it. I returned the next day, simply wanting credit for something else in the shop.
The owners/managers were uninterested in trying to satisfy me. They asked what I wanted them to do & why I didn't like it. But then, rather than respect what I said and/or honor my request, they argued with me about my experience ("It does not taste like XXX; it's fresh; it was packaged last week; it's wonderful. You can't return food.") and refused to help me. The worst part of was how rude the mother & son were to me. Over a $2.50 1/4 lb bag of red string licorice.
You can bet I will never shop there, no matter how much I love candy, or how big my craving, again.
Because Glenn junior is so handsome. A man that sweet can only create sweet things.

They have the absolute BEST chocolate/peanut butter pretzels. I send them to relatives in San Francisco and New Brunswick every year (one year I didn't and really got an earful!). Their chocolate potato chips are righteous too!
