Artistry is one asset that established owner Joe Volpe in the elegant banquet and catering business. His perfectionism has persisted for almost 25 years and now defines the Cescaphe experience--the passion for his livelihood, his family and his life.
The place-Cescaphe is a result of many years of hard work logging 70 to 80 hours a week. In addition to executive chef duties, Joe makes sure to be an integral part of the planning of entire affairs with his customers.

Joe Volpe and his staff created the wedding of the century for our family at the Curtis Center in Phila, PA. It was sheer magic and the people who attended said they would remember our affair for ever. A+++++++++++
We celebrated our wedding at the Atrium at the Curtis Center this past May and would not have done anything differently. The entire staff contributed to making the night one that we and our guests will never forget. The choices of food and arrangements were impressive and the venue was spectacular. Everything went smoothly and that was thanks to the entire staff. We felt as though everything was personalized and appreciated all of the thought that went into making our reception exactly how we envisioned it.
The entire staff at Cescaphe made our wedding day perfect. We got married a year and a half ago, and I'm still getting compliments on how great the food was! I'd recommend this venue to everyone!

Simply put: THERE IS NOBODY BETTER. From food, to space, to service and staff, Cescaphe is simply the Best at what they do. While I may be a biased bride... I have 200 guests willing to back me up on this one.
The Curtis Center was an absolute dream. Our wedding was there in November 2008; our family and friends are still talking about it. Every detail was managed and every need or want was anticipated. There is no better place in the Philadelphia area.
My wedding was here 8/29/09 and I loved every minute of the day. Joe, Natalie, Michael, Dana, and Staff...Thank you sooo much for everything...

I have attended several weddings at Cescaphe's and everyone of the weddings were done in a complete professional and elegant style. I would love to see my daughter start her "happily ever after" life at Cescape Ballroom.
They handle everything so professionally and are quite happy to add the things that you forget at the last minute!! No one leaves unhappy, can't say enough about this group. One of the best kept secrets in PHILLY!!!! Oops, now its not a secret anymore. You'll be delighted with their attentive service. You really have to try them to believe it!!
If you want a fairtale wedding and a night that your guest will remember forever, choose the Cescaphe`. Its like having a NY style wedding in Philly! They were wonderful from start to finish. My friends and family still tell me how amazing our wedding was. During all the planning, i felt as though i was family to all of them! They were terriffic!!!

Words are hard to describe how amazing this place is for a wedding or special affair. Don't shop around, this is the place to go for perfection, great service and delicious and never ending food, you will be guaranteed a perfect party.
Just had our wedding reception there on Aug 13. The room looked like a fairyland with flowers, lighting and table settings done to perfection. Cocktail hour, dinner and Viennese dessert table were extraordinary. Michael, the matre D, was very helpful to some of our handicapped guests, gave special attention to parents of groom/bride and made the occasion one to remember always. Many guests commented, "It was the best wedding I ever attended." Bravos to Joe Volpe and his staff!
