I've had nothing but great experiences at Breakaway. Jonas was extremely helpful with my first bike purchase, and Shawn is always willing to lend a helping hand. Every time I go in there it's like I'm one of the gang. I'm in the market for a new bike, and you can bet I'll be going back to Breakaway.
This is hands down not just the worst bicycle shop i've ever been in, but among the worst retail stores I have ever been in. Their service was just totally incompetent, and what made it worse was their arrogance. They completely screwed up the labor on my bike, and then were unable to find what they did wrong. If they had taken it out for a test ride, like they should have done, they may have found it. Then again, maybe not...they are that incompetent. This store is an embaressment to the city.
Wow, this store is magnificent. Great selection of bikes and super staff. Everyone was friendly, I bought my bike without hesitation, whenever I come back I still get a warm reception from all of the gang. I have even bought a secod bike from them and will be taking their indoor classes this year.
Joe is a very knowledgeable coach, and the RPM classes Breakaway offers during the fall and winter provide an excellent source of indoor training!!
