Nice size sites with lots of bushes and trees in between . Gives the feeling of wilderness without being to far from amenities . Well stocked camp store and nice playground for the Kids.

tHE WORKERS ARE MUCH FRIENDLIER THAN THE OWNER'S.
I like camping at Cape May much better, a few dollars more, but certainly worth it. The bathrooms were never clean and the "2nd pool" is very tiny. I did not like it.

We have been here for 8 yrs now and LOVE it! We looked around first and found this to be the best campground by far! The activities are great as well as the staff who are very nice friendly & helpful.
We have made many wonderful friends and still continue to make more! It’s so nice when you walk by someone’s campsite and are asked in to sit around for some s'mores and when you leave, you left knowing you gained another friendship! As far as the bathrooms, I have always found them clean, once I encountered some girls throwing paper around and having a ball. I'm sure if I didn't walk in at that time, it would have been left a mess! I can pretty much be assured the staff doesn't make the mess in the bathrooms, So to me it does take a village, and we should respect our fellow campers and clean up after ourselves and leave it nice for all to enjoy.
We consider BAC our little piece HEAVEN, and hope to be here for a long time so our grandchildren can experience the wonderful times we are having! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Having grown up in a camping family that's traveled the North - South - East & West of this Country, I know what makes a great campground and Baker’s Acre’s fits that bill!

What makes a great campground? Things like the size of a campsite, the flora & fauna, people – both workers & other campers, activities and area attractions. But let’s not forget to mention family friendly atmosphere and a safe environment. Baker’s Acre’s has it all!!

Because John & Anne Baker were campers first, (not some franchise or big money business), they created a campground taking all the good things they liked in other campgrounds and were careful not to duplicate the things they didn't like. Baker's Acres has found a winning combination.

Being mindful of not cutting trees or shrubs unnecessarily allows Baker’s Acre’s to have a park like appearance. And the campers – well they make their little bit of Baker’s Acre’s their home away from home by personalizing their campsites in some very unique ways.

Nestled in a nicely wooded area close to the Atlantic Ocean, near Long Beach Island and Atlantic City, Baker’s Acre’s makes it easy to spend the day basking in the sun & then by the firelight at night. There are busy times & quiet times, quiet hour being strictly enforced.

Every month brings s special celebration but my favorite is the Pig Roast in September as the campground winds down another busy year.

As with anything, there will always be distracters but they are far & few between. As one reviewer wrote perhaps they were disgruntled because they were asked to leave. Baker’s Acre’s guards their reputation fiercely, and when push comes to shove have asked unruly patrons to leave, making Baker’s Acre’s truly a family fun environment to spend some quality time with your family & with Mother Nature. Enjoy! See you around the campfire!!!

After shopping around for the right place I just became a new seasonal at the Bakers Acres campground last year, and to be frank about it, I did not know really anything about the camping trailer I just bought. I saw one of the workers drive by on one of the golf carts they use and asked him for some information about it. Not only did he point me in the right direction, but he took the time to show me how to operate everything. Thanks to the staff I've been having a great camping experience.

Now we just need to get them to get the quiet hour changed! Having them come around at 11 is too early! They need to take a break.

Thanks guys
- Jake

Bakers Acres is a wonderful place to bring your family for a Jersey Shore vacation. This campground has a very comfortable environment and is family run. The owners live on premises and are very nice people that are dedicated to their customers 24/7. They have fun activities that target all age groups and are always keeping the campers best interests in mind. Pool nights, karaoke, bingo, arts and crafts, there are always fun filled events taking place there. I will always camp at bakers acres, its a place to make memories and grow old with friends!

We have camped at BAC for the last 26 years. The family is dedicated to providing a clean, safe and enjoyable get away. We have seen several generations returning and bringing their children to a place where they can be kids and enjoy the freedom of this environment. We have met a lot of good people, both seasonals and transients, who have become close friends. We look forward to starting a new season, seeing our friends and making new friends.

Best campground at the Jersey Shore for SURE! we've done ALOT of camping, not only in Jersey but other states as well. It would be hard to find any campground that we enjoy more. Camping at BAC will defintely be a positive experience because it is a family campground with family values. There aren't many places like this left around to enjoy! Private sites with beautiful Laural, pool to cool off in, and a play ground the kids love. My personal favorite is to sit and relax with family and friends around a campfire in the evening, can't tell you how many nites we sat and visited and laughed and had a great time! And if you forget to pack something....don't worry about it...just walk up to the camp store...seriously, they've got everything! I would highly reccomend BAC to anyone looking to have a great camping experience.

i'm glad to see that someone is sticking up for baker's acres. my parents and i have been camping since i was 4 and we've been all over. there are a lot of nice campgrounds in nj and pa that we've been to. i love bakers acres and i think that the employees have always been really nice to us. i've never seen them be mean to anyone even when i saw a guy being rude to the owner she wasnt rude back. i'm 23 now and i'm brining my own kid with me camping. we still go all over but i will always love bakers acres and i think that they are one of the nicest campgrounds around not just the 'jersey shore'. if you read these comments and think that the employees are 'rude'...maybe think of who these people are that are leaving the comments compared to how many nice comments there are. maybe these people are just being spiteful.

I know everyone is entitled to their opinions and I am not saying the person below is wrong, but I've been bringing my grandchildren to Baker's Acres since they were both two and three and now they are 7 and 8. I have always felt completely safe with them there and they have always loved going with NO complaints about the other kids. They actually make new friends every time they go to the playground. We do weekend trips so they take part in the arts and crafts and whatever activity is going on. My favorite thing to do is bingo...they love kids day during the 4th.

I found the staff to be not very helpful. There is also a rowdy bunch of teenagers hanging around all the time. My kids are 4 and 7 and I felt uncomfortable.
