Welcome to the Angel of the Sea, Victorian Cape May's most elegant bed & breakfast. Located one half block from the beach in the quiet East end of town, the Angel offers the discriminating traveler a chance to experience the charm of a bygone era while enjoying an array of modern amenities. Each of the 27 guestroom at the Angel, is uniquely furnished in Victorian style and each room has its own private bath. About a quarter of our rooms have ocean views, but all guests have access to common porches and balconies that wrap around the front of our twin houses. Every room at the Angel has cable television and wireless internet access is offered to all of our guests. Books and magazines are available in our common areas, as well as a selection of board games. Our professional and friendly staff is ready to assist you in any way they can, whether it's making dinner reservations at one of the wonderful area restaurants or mapping out a bicycle excursion of town. We can tell you where to pick up a bottle of wine and where to buy tickets for a whale watch or trolley tour. So whether you come in the warmer months to enjoy the pristine beaches of the Jersey Cape or in the off-season to experience the historic charm of the country's only National Historic Landmark city, we hope you will choose to stay at the Angel of the Sea, where lifetime memories are made.

I have visited Cape May for many years and have always dreamed of staying at "the Angel". My dream was finally realized a few years ago when my husband and I spent our anniversary there. It was the best place we have ever stayed at. A very relaxing atmosphere and wonderful breakfasts!!! The staff is very attentive and the rooms are just beautifully done. We are hooked and will hopefully spend many more anniversaries there in the future!!
The Angel of the Sea is by far the most amazing B&B. I have stayed in several and always feel so welcomed by the wonderful staff at the Angel. The atmosphere is wonderfully serene. A great getaway to relax and enjoy all that Cape May has to offer. The rooms are beautifully victorian and also offer modern day luxuries. I love the afternoon tea and wine and cheese. A beautiful display that sets the Angel above others. I can not say enough about the attentive staff - I always feel at home. Can't wait to plan my next getaway at the Angel.
We celebrated our anniversary at the Angel last fall. Our room was great with a nice view of the ocean. Breakfast was delicious and I really enjoyed the wine & cheese. The staff was really helpful and recommended some great restaurants. And they also provide bikes at no extra charge. We spent hours on them exploring Cape May.

Yesterday we got lucky and were able to rent a room at your lovely Angel. The room was beautiful and all the people we met were as friendly as can be. We stay at b & b's whenever we can and I must say breakfast was fine dining quality. We will definately be back.....with a reservation next time.
Staying at the Angel of the Sea was perfect. We were there at Christmas time, yet had wonderful weather to ride bikes around town and see so much. Our room simply could not have been more beautiful. The food was amazing and the staff so friendly. Pictures of the Angel grace our home here in NYC. Would love to go back soon. Thank you Angel staff.
My room was absolutely perfect, The breakfast was one of the best I ever had at a restaurant, let alone included in a night stay. Kudos to the "Angel of the Sea".

It is, exactly what it is named.... An Angel of a place to visit and stay. Always friendly and courteous, with large, clean, comfortable rooms. Have stayed there twice, since it opened, even though I could stay at friends houses in No. Cape May. Just can't beat the experience. Has it all, and does it all it can to make your Cape May (God's Country), a very nice stay with an Angel.
