Welcome to the Angel of the Sea, Victorian Cape May's most elegant bed & breakfast. Located one half block from the beach in the quiet East end of town, the Angel offers the discriminating traveler a chance to experience the charm of a bygone era while enjoying an array of modern amenities.
Each of the 27 guestroom at the Angel, is uniquely furnished in Victorian style and each room has its own private bath. About a quarter of our rooms have ocean views, but all guests have access to common porches and balconies that wrap around the front of our twin houses. Every room at the Angel has cable television and wireless internet access is offered to all of our guests. Books and magazines are available in our common areas, as well as a selection of board games. Our professional and friendly staff is ready to assist you in any way they can, whether it's making dinner reservations at one of the wonderful area restaurants or mapping out a bicycle excursion of town. We can tell you where to pick up a bottle of wine and where to buy tickets for a whale watch or trolley tour. So whether you come in the warmer months to enjoy the pristine beaches of the Jersey Cape or in the off-season to experience the historic charm of the country's only National Historic Landmark city, we hope you will choose to stay at the Angel of the Sea, where lifetime memories are made.

I have been enjoying Cape May for 58 years. The family atmosphere and care given to all of the guests at the Angel of the Sea makes our time there very special. My husband and I also enjoy many of their breakfast feasts at home thanks to their wonderful book of recipes. We make sure that we find time to relax and unwind as often as we can. The Angel of the Sea is a special haven.
We have been to the Angel of the sea 6 times and we can't wait to return. The rooms. the food, the service, the camaraderie have always been outstanding.

Angel of the Sea is the most beautiful, quiet, relaxing B&B I have ever been in. No phones in room, No kids running up and down the hall. Great food for breakfast, good wine and cheese, and tea and cookies. The most friendly B&B.

They're reasonably priced and keep a very lovely B&B with good food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I've been going there for over 12 years. I especially love to utilize their porches during the spring and summer seasons.
