In 1982 Owner/Director Patti Cascio who with a Bachelors Degree in Dance from the University Of The Arts opened the doors to All That Jazz. Just out of school, she hit the ground running and never looked back. ATJ is a great example of success. Patti instills the importance proper technique and enthusiasm in all dance (Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Gym). ATJ also has a Summer Dance Camp! In March 2004 ATJ officially opened at its new location just off Broad Street in So. Philly.This historic building is surrounded by the original Iron Gate and a beautifully landscaped courtyard. ATJ has Five new state of the art studios. Studio A has a sprung floor made of maple. Studio B - floating floor by Stage-Step, Studio C - floating floor made of oak, Studio D - floationg floor made of Brazilian Walnut. Studio M - Music & vocal instruction. *All studios have full length mirrors, custom ballet barres (designed by ATJ), & central-air. There is a large lobby & dressing room facilities. ATJ offers instruction for child & adult in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Gymnastics, Work-out, Vocal & Music. At the end of the dance year the students perform in the ATJ dance recital held in May at Commerce Bank Arts Centre. Summer Dance Camp begins in June with plenty of activities for everyone!

Patty is a very nice woman...and she means well...BUT....the students don't learn much when they get to mid-teens. Every dance looks the same...the steps repeat so much I knew them all by the time the recital was over. Same steps, same dances - year after year. No progression and no challenges offered to students.
If you are happy with just learning a few EASY and beginner steps with no intentions of advancing and building knowledge of dance....go here.

My niece has been there since she was 2 years old. At 14, she is currently assisting the jazz and tap teachers for the summer. In the fall she will be assisting the teacher in ballet, jazz and tap. She was able to skip an instructional level in ballet and tap and will now perform with the adults (17 & older)
Great classes, good teachers, nice studio and great location.
Patti is not just a dance instructor she is a friend. Anyone who walks into All That Jazz feels welcome. We are a family. All That Jazz should be number one because Patti focuses on technique and allows each dancer to grow in self-esteem and pride in themselves. Her teachers are trained and certified not only in dance, but in gymnastics as well.
Patti is the greatest. She has the patience of a saint! My 6 year old granddaughter has been a student for 4 years and has learned so much more than just dancing. She has poise and confidence.. My younger granddaughter is 3 1/2 and is also attending classes. The end of year shows are great.
Patty has a great recital every year. Different theme and up to date songs. My niece has been there since age 3. Now 14. Great!

My daughter has been dancing at All That Jazz for many years. It's nice having a place that you can send your kids to dance and know they are safe at the same time. Not only do they teach dance at All That Jazz but they teach kids respect and kindness to others. It's more than just a dance school, it's a second home.
Ms. Patti and all her teachers are the best! If I can't dance at All That Jazz I won't dance anywhere.
I've watched hundreds of young ladies and men progress through this dance studio. The turn over in minimal. The one on one personal care they take for each and every student can't be found anywhere else in this city.
